In 2D code reading, a 2D code (two-dimensional barcode) in an image is searched, and encoded character strings are read.

A data matrix encoded character
string that says "ViSCO Technologies"
A QR code encoded character string that says
「https://www.visco-tech.com/」
Either kind of 2D code can be read by ViSCO products--black on a white background, or white on a black background.
